a.k.a. Congrès So Very Wrong About Games Fun Times Good Vibes Only Trans Rights Are Human Rights Board Game Jamboree (working title)
WHEN: 2025 July 25th-26th 10 AM-late, July 27th 10 AM-5 PM
WHERE: Kingston, Ontario, Our Lady of Fatima, 588 Division Street, Hall B
WHAT: A small convention for playing board games
WHO: The SVWAG “personalities” (citation needed) and other interested parties, likely 65ish registrants
WHY: The fun times, the good vibes
SVWAG Con is SOLD OUT. Thank you to all who purchased a ticket! We are on like flan, as they say. We’re very eager to see you in Kingston!
All attendees will be expected to leave with a free game. At least one. So make sure you have room to take back some of the stuff we need to get rid of. Yes, this is a non-trivial part of why we’re doing this. There will be amazing stuff available, I assure you. But please take the trash too.
Amenities:
Board game library (the SVWAG Canon, at a minimum)
Tables AND chairs!!! So you can sit! At the tables!
Refreshments (water and sugar-free Pepsi-branded beverages, the latter courtesy of Il Lupo)
Attendance entails agreeing to the below policies (ignorance of the policies will not be considered a valid defense):
